Our town is located at the foot of the Kaplandede Mountains and is located 15 km from Düzce province center. The D-100 road passes through the district limits and is 5 km from the district center.

The area of ​​the province is 63,8 km². About half this is flat in the mountainous half. The altitude at sea level is 222 meters. As you go north, the altitude rises to some 600-700 meters.

Between Akdere Suyu and Bayramali Stream, which is born from Kaplandede Mountains, it passes through the district center.

Our residence is on the 1st degree earthquake zone. The annual average temperature of the district is 13.7 degrees. The average precipitation is 845 kg per meter square. Our inhabitants carry a rainy and humid climatic character.

Especially in the winter months, the fog layer seen in the Düzce Plain is not found in Çilimli and its vicinity and therefore it is in an ideal location as a settlement area. There are Karadere and Akdere as natural resources in the district.

Our town is located in the North West of Düzce. The distance to İlçenin Düzce is 15 Km. For our citizens who will come to our campus, public transport services are starting at 7.30 in the morning and departures are open every hour from 19.00 to 22.00 every half hour until 18:30. İlçemiz is 218 km from Istanbul and 253 km from Ankara
